International registrants of Jiangsu University experienced Monster Boat Festival's customs in the neighborhood of Zhenjiang, Jiangsu state before this Chinese conventional festival. Guiding by the community's residents, the international college students from countries such as Bekwai, ghana, Uganda and Zimbabwe discovered the festival's customs for example wrapping zongzi and artwork salted duck eggs.
The actual Dragon Boat Festival is actually celebrated on the fifth time of May in the tacha calendar, and falls upon June 9 this year.
